I have been shooting for several years now, but didn't really get serious about it until the early part of 2007. I purchased my first real digital SLR and a couple of speed lights after becoming enamored with the idea of that I could take beautiful portraits of people. I've spent the last two years learning from others (and teaching myself) in the Austin area and doing a significant amount of self discovery while practicing. Over time, I found myself becoming better and better at capturing the inner beauty that people like to hide when a camera comes out on display.
